Blocks are direct or circular movements to stop strikes or kicks. Block can prevent injury or even save your life.

This block protects the face and top of the head against a strike. The movement starts with the blocking arm under the other arm with palm facing up, swing the blocking arm up, crossing the chest, above the top of the head. Block with the outer wrist. |

This block protects the body from the waist to the shoulder against a strike. The movement starts with the blocking arm under the other arm with palm facing up, swing the blocking arm side way, crossing the chest, in front of the shoulder. Block with the outer wrist. |

This block protects the body below the waist against a strike. This movement starts with the fist of the blocking arm on the shoulder. Bring the arm straight down, align with the shoulder. Block with the outer wrist. |

This block protects the body from the waist to the shoulder against a strike. The movement starts with the blocking arm under the other arm with palm facing down, swing the blocking arm side way, crossing the chest, in front of the shoulder. Block with the inner wrist. |

This block protects the body from the waist to the shoulder against a strike. The movement starts with the fist of the blocking arm beside the ear with palm facing out, swing the blocking arm side way, crossing the shoulder. Block with the outer wrist. |

This block protects the body either high section or low section. The movement starts with both fists / knife hands at the waist. Bring both fists / knife hands up, crossing the neck / belt, and straighten the elbows to create a powerful outward / downward movement. |

Bring the palm of the blocking hand from the outside at ear level downward with a powerful movement to the low abdomen. This block is used to protect solar plexus and face. |
